Long moves
A cross-country move is not more complicated than a local one, it just has more driving in it. The same crew loads and unloads, which matters more than it sounds: the people who packed the van are the ones who know what is behind what.
Local moves
Also fine, and quoted the same way — one figure for the job. If you are moving two streets away with a small flat’s worth of things, be aware that a local man-and-van will probably beat us on price, and we would rather you knew.
Scotland, Wales and the far south-west
All routine. Rural destinations sometimes need a smaller vehicle for the final approach, which we establish at the quote stage rather than discovering at the end of a lane.
What we don’t cover
Anything outside the UK. Overseas moves are a genuinely different operation with different paperwork and insurance, and doing them occasionally is how they get done badly.
